Article 1 of Council Directive 76/211 / EEC of the Council of January 20, 1976 states:
“This Directive shall apply to prepackages containing products (…..) with a view to sale in constant unit nominal quantities, – equal to values predetermined by the packer, – expressed in weight – or volume units – of at least 5 grams or 5 ml and not more than 10 kg or 10 l. ”
The e-mark looks like a lowercase e.
It is mentioned in Europe on packaging of foodstuffs.
Application and use must comply with the relevant requirements.
